Student’ papers at the 2009 Joint Urban Remote Sensing Event in Shanghai  

       During the forthcoming 2009 Joint Urban Remote Sensing Event, to be held in 
       Shanghai on May 20-22, 2009, a student paper competition will be held. It is a 
       wonderful occasion for young researchers in urban remote sensing to expose 
       their work in this unique venue and be recognized for their value.

       Any student willing to propose a paper for consideration under this competition 
       is required:

      1) to submit an abstract by the October 31st deadline to  urban_2009@unipv.it,
          indicating that he/she is willing to participate  to the student competition. The
          abstract must have the name of the student as first author;

      2) to submit the full paper and an electronic copy of a  certificate showing his/her
          student status by e-mail to the same address by December 1st, 2009; 

     3) to present the paper at the conference, if the paper is accepted and included in
         the Student Prize Session.

     Please note that, for non-Chinese students whose paper will be accepted for this 
     session, conference sponsors provide funds for partial reimbursement of travel and
     lodging expenses. Moreover, prizes and certificates for the first three papers in the 
     competition will be provided.
